I truly believe that after we learned to pick the fruit from the trees and huddle together in caves for warmth, the very next thing we did was to sing and to dance, to draw and to paint. I believe the arts are a vital and intrinsic part of us as a people and as a community. They define us as a culture and unite us in humanity. My goal as an artist and designer is to foster this vitality.
